At Vorealis Software, we are committed to doing our part to ensure that our influence on our environment is positive, contributing to a better society and improving our overall living environment. We know that every good deed, no matter how small, has a ripple effect, and we want to be a part of it, both as a company and as individuals and professionals who work here.

We believe that our Costa Rican academic institutions are among the best in the region and we continually support students in advanced stages of their careers to complete their professional internships with us.

Recycling programs
In our offices, we collect waste paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, toner, and electronic components for recycling through the Municipal Collection Centers. We are also part of and support the eCoins Recycling Program which is done at the national level.

For our services and those of our clients, we strive to use cloud-based equipment, given that it has standards and mechanisms for reducing consumption and improving energy efficiency, as is the case with our partner, Microsoft in its Data Centers.

Turning off equipment that is not in use
To reduce our carbon footprint, in our offices we promote turning off equipment that is not in use (for example, computers, servers, printers, lamps, air conditioning equipment, microwaves, projectors, fans, etc.).

We work remotely from our homes, thus helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon footprint, contributing to the reduction of polluting gas emissions and the number of cars on the streets, reducing congestion.
